News+ puzzles aren't syncing to iPad

I've been playing and enjoying the puzzles included with News+, particularly Quartiles. However, the game state does not sync to my iPad Pro 11". My iPhone and Mac are perfectly in sync and all game history shows in both places. The iPad is somehow not included. All devices are logged into the same iCloud and Game Center accounts, including the iPad. The little Game Center pop-over appears when I begin a game. I've tried logging out and back into GC on the iPad and game state still does not appear.

Anyone else seeing this?
