iPad 9 gen screen glitch

My guess is 2-3 months before major issues

iPad screen got hit by a charger near the home button, most damage was sustained by the screen protector but after taking the protecter off I noticed a small hole right on the edge of the home button.

Ipad got in contact with some water and it must have gone through the glass or the hole from the charger incident. The next day I power it up and oops, my screen won't stop glitching. Left it off for a while and used other devicee in the meanwhile. Turned it on a week ago and it worked fine except for half the screen being brighter than the other and the visible water under the display. Used it for approx 1 hour, screen glitched again and has since been unusable.

The only remedy for a cracked or broken iPad screen is replacement of the screen - or the iPad. An iPad is also not water resistant; if allowed to get wet, or if moisture seeps into the iPad, it will almost certainly result in irreparable damage.
