AirPods Pro randomly stopped detecting in the case

i went to bed with my AirPods charged woke up with them out of charge and the case too, thinking I’d forgot to charge them I put them on charge and waited for them to finish. When I took them off charge and used them they were fine but then when I put them back on and tried using them hours later they were out of charge again. I have not dropped or damaged them in any way
