Final Cut Pro for iPad Will not read HEVC files.

I use AMD Adrenalin to record videos on my PC.


it’s the newest HEVC video encoding (H. 265) and no matter what I do, FCP on iPad just won’t read or show the videos, in FCP it just shows the missing plug-in symbol (res background, white puzzle icon and a yellow triangle).


I also tried changing nothing but the video format, to H. 264 and that worked fine, but not H. 265 (HEVC).


I have the option to export as HEVC, from the program, but the iPad and the program does not support this format properly and so far neither google or Reddit has been able to help.


it seems there is absolute nothing wrong when checking the files formatting, both video and audio, yet it just doesn’t work.


please help…
