iphone 15th max messages blank frozen

Messages app freezes or is blank. When trying to click on messages in settings, it freezes. I’m on the latest iOS update, have closed/reopened apps, restarted etc. Nothing fixes the issue.

iPhone 14 keeps freezing on messages i just bought brand new iPhone 14 yesterday and I’ve had to turn off and turn on the phone almost 50 times in the last day because of the amount of times it freezes or won’t load or crashes the messages app. Can someone please help? This is literally brand new phone and my messages app is so slow and can’t even function correctly.

Messages frozen and crashes on IOS 17.6 Ever since updating to iOS 17.5.1 a while back my Messages app rarely works. Usually usually if you bring the app up, it’s just a blank black screen and all you can do is kill it or wait a little while and it’ll crash on its own. On the rare occasion you can actually use the app. It’ll only work for a couple minutes and then crash. I was hoping that the 17.6 update would fix it, but no. I have tried the focus trick. I have reset the phone. Is anyone else having this issue with 17.6 still?

Message App Unresponsive I am asking a question on behalf of my son who is using an iPhone 11. His messages app is freezing intermittently. Powering down the phone can sometimes temporarily resolve the issue. His software is up to date and he has adequate storage available. When trying to click on Messages in the settings, the settings ends up freezing - other settings available here work as expected. Looking for a solution to this. TIA!

I have an IPhone 15 Pro. Same exact thing after last update. Was told by support to wipe and reinstall. Messages worked for about a week. App is back to freezing and the Settings for messages. Starting to feel like I’m running android with all of the Update failures I’ve had in the last couple of years. Get it together Apple!
