Find my “ Mobile Data is Turned Off”

I always get this error message when opening Find My. Mobile data is turned on of course. I tested it in many circumstances.

When people share their location with me in messages I get the same error.

Find my friend locations not updating When searching a friends location that is shared with me, the location does not update and very seldom shows a live location. This is the same for more than one contact. I have reset the find my app, reset the network settings, tried turning airplane mode on and off and have rebooted the phone. What is causing this and how do I fix it?

How to fix inaccurate Find My locations after iOS 18.4.1 update? After updating my iPhone 14 Pro Max to iOS 18.4.1 the “Find My Items” is no longer working properly. My items randomly show up in different areas of town even though I have them with me. I receive notifications that one of my items were left behind. Does anyone know of a fix? I tried a hard reset, verified location services is on and tried offloading and reinstalling the app but nothing changed. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Go to settings - cellular - scroll down and see if cellular data for find my is turned on or disabled.
