Libby (formerly Library Connection) stops playing when my iphone screen goes into sleep mode.

After a IOS update, my Libby app stops playing when my iphone screen goes into sleep mode. I've closed apps, rebooted phone and still having problem. Libby doesn't have the same button as audible, Media & Apple music to turn on. Help!
