Apple Pencil pro not working
My Apple Pencil pro has stopped working, doesn’t show charge percentage and squeezable sensor doesn’t work. I’m not sure what’s happened to it.

This just happened to me. Brand new iPad Air M2 and Pencil Pro (1 day old). Made no sense.
Turns out the pencil tip was loose. Looks like it didn't come tight enough and after a few strokes, it came loose enough to stop working.
Just a few twists and back to working. 😅
Other comments here say they tried different pencils and no luck, fortunately, that wasn't my case, and might not be yours.

... and what have you tried, so far yourself, to resolve this so that we don't offer potential solutions that may not have already worked for you?
For example, have you:
Yes, I have tried every method but nothing has seemed to work. The only thing that shows when the pen is connected to the iPad a little icon shows that it’s connected but doesn’t show the battery percentage nor does the squeeze sensor vibrate.
I have the new IPad Air M2 2024 so this pencil was recommended. And I’ve only had this for less than a month.
I also bought the iPad Pro 13 M4. I already replaced my 2 day old pencil through support and the same thing still happens constantly. They say in the forums you have to restart your iPad. That is not a fix if it keeps happening. Extremely aggravating since I had 4 of the older pencils and had to purchase this newer model which is tecnically challenged!
Still happening. …replacing with another pencil isn’t working either and Apple Support says they know nothing basically and just to replace the pencil which is not the solution. Reported it as a bug but who knows if they even really see it.
Ok, then your next step is to contact Apple Support directly for assistance with this matter. To do so, simply select the "Support" link on the lower left-hand side of this forum's web page.
Apple support told me to replace it and it’s still happening. I have to restart my pad constantly.
