My apple pencil is not working even after tip replacement I tried disconnecting and connect it screwing and unscrewing of the tip but it still not working what can be done and how much would it cost for repair

Pencil is connecting and charging also and the double tap feature is also working it just I'm unable to write anything there is no response

Crazy, I just reattached my pencil to the side of my pad and the pencil connected. Weird! It was there all night!
