iPhone 8 IOS 16.7.8 update no mobile data

The phone was working fine, did the update and now have no mobile data or signal. Wi-Fi is fine. Settings say an update is needed to get mobile data but updates say it is up to date. Can’t roll back, can’t access carrier settings.

Carrier settings updating I’ve updated My iPhone 7 to IOS 15.7 and now it’s lost the mobile network. I’m still connected to a Wi-Fi network, but the phone keeps searching in vain. settings confirms there’s a mobile data ‘issue’ but there’s no option to update network carrier settings. My network provider will send me updated carrier settings but I can’t receive these via SMS because *there’s no network connection*! A bit of a catch-22. no option to manually enter carrier settings either. any help?

An Update is required to use cellular data I have an iPhone X and I've already updated to IOS 16.3.1 and it's not showing me anything on how to update my phone or update carrier settings? I don't know what to do and it happened to suddenly. Please help me, thank you.
