Escape key not working on my new Magic keyboard

Thanks Tom, I have already raised this feedback (had to do it by selecting iPad as there is no selection for the Magic Keyboard).

Reference those shortcuts you provided, they are app specific and the MKB does not have a dedicated [Fn] button. Although yes [cmd] H does take you back to the Home Screen.

Yes, most of the time the 'esc' key does not work. I tried the Keynote app, when it is in full screen, you press the Esc key, and you get out of the full screen. It is the only case I found in which the ESC key works.

To ask Apple to fix that, you can use

What it should do is at the very least; close down an app instead of having to continually do a three finger swipe up on the trackpad.

i have other keyboards and they have dedicated keys to get out of an app, why on earth the esc key cannot do this is simply weird.

Ive never used the key on a mac, but do have a new 11” Pro and keyboard, and ive tried the Esc key, and it doesnt do anything for me either.

I don’t believe the ‘esc’ key has much support. Safari videos changing from full screen to window does.

tried the Esc key on YouTube App full screen just pressing esc to exit doesn’t work. Apparently so far can’t find anything that would work with Esc button
