How to improve quality during Amazon Fire TV mirroring iPhone?

I often mirror content from my iPhone to my Amazon Fire TV, especially when I want to display interactive content like drawing tutorials and real-time cooking demonstrations directly from apps on my phone. Unfortunately, the mirroring quality has been disappointing. The images often lag and appear blurry, which really detracts from the experience. I've tried a few mirroring apps hoping for better performance, but haven't had much luck. Does anyone have suggestions for an app or settings that could improve the clarity and responsiveness of Fire TV mirroring iPhone? Any advice on achieving a smoother and sharper mirroring setup would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I totally get the frustration with screen mirroring iPhone to Fire TV. I had the same issue a few months ago. Here’s what I found helpful to get a clearer and smoother mirroring session:

- Having a strong and stable Wi-Fi connection is essential for effective screen mirroring from your iPhone to your Fire TV. I switched to using a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network and immediately noticed a significant improvement. The 5 GHz band is generally faster and suffers from less interference compared to the more commonly used 2.4 GHz band.

- This might sound basic, but restarting both your iPhone and Fire TV can fix those weird glitches. It worked for me for a few times.

- Keeping both your devices updated is crucial. Regular software updates often include fixes for bugs that can disrupt the screen mirroring process, ensuring smoother performance and better compatibility between your iPhone and Fire TV.

- As for mirroring apps... Try DoCast https://apps.apple.com/us/app/docast-cast-and-mirror-to-tv/id6446948344.

Just download it from the App Store, connect to the same Wi-Fi, and follow the setup guide. The mirroring quality suits me. I can even play games.
