We have sound on our AppleTV but the control for sound stops working. This is happening on my older box & my son’s new box. My son has to use his tv remote for volume but my tv remote doesn’t work lol. Anyone else have just a volume issue? Last time out was stuck on really low, now it’s really loud.

Please ensure the remotes are fully charged. If it's fully charged and it still does not work, please unplug the Apple TV from its power source for 2-3 minutes, plug it back in and then retest. If the problem persists, check the sound settings in the Preferences.
