Is it possible to customize the Period Key location on iPhone?

No, you cannot modify the built in keyboard on iOS. It is baked into the operating system. I rarely tap the . key myself. I use the double tap the space bar to insert a period at the end of a sentence.

Hoffman, the OP stated that the period key is in the way so he presses it constantly instead of the space key. One needs to stretch their thumb far enough to hit the space key whilst dodging the period key.

I’m aware. I’m also aware that two presses of the key aimed for gets a period.

As one possibility for what might be happening here, turn off the “.” shortcut in Settings > General > Keyboard

Agreed! The full stop/period key is in the most inconvenient place on the keyboard!
