Searchbar keyboard on Iphone annoyances.

Is there any way to change the placement of the dot/period button that is on IPhones keyboards next to the space bar on url/searchbars on as not only me but a lot of users end up accidentally pressing dot instead of space or go (mostly when we try to press space). Most users would be thankful for it being on the left side or at least having an option to change it instead of accidentally typing.dot.instead.of.space. Annoying isnt it.
