Compromised Passwords

Received a system alert stating my passwords appeared in a data breach. Like almost all of them. Is this legit? My coworker received one as well.

More than likely that is true. Most people who have not changed their passwords have had them appear in a data breach one way or another from the many breaches that have been reported by other companies. The solution is to change your password. This is something that should be done on a regular basis anyways. You also want to make sure you are using different passwords for each location that you create an account.

You can also go to https://haveibeenpwned.com to see which data breach your login details were exposed from. Apple maintains a list of these breaches and will notify you in Settings if you need to change your password.
