If by the “overheating sign” do you mean the phone shuts down and says it must cool off? If that is happening, contact Apple support; your phone has a hardware problem.

Are you streaming the music? Instagram uses data continuously, so that with viewing video uses a lot of energy, which means a lot of heat.

None of the other previous iPhones, for example my 12 not pro version, got warm when you were just listening to music from your library. none of them got so hot from watching Instagram.
