iPhone 15 Pro Max is overheating

My new IPhone 15 pro max is overheating when just bluetoothing music to a headset cutting my lawn. Phone on my pocket. iOS ver 17.0.2 I had to place it in a shaded area to work. I never had that problem with my iPhone 12

I hear there is a possible software fix coming? Is that true? Can you tell me when?
