I don’t know if it’s happened to anyone else but iMessage on my iPhone 15 proMax running on iOS 17.4 keep frozen frequently ps/ it’s happened in the past on anterior iOS 17 version

I have tried restarting my phone several times and it is still not helping. I have also noticed my bars of service are much lower (1 bar) than usual (3-4). I wonder if this is an AT&T network issue.
My wife and I both have 15 pros, both on AT&T version 17.5.1 live in Arkansas and same issues…. Seems worse in DC area when I travel…. But getting to the point of getting rid of IPhone…. Happens daily
Your phone might be having an iMessage freezing issue because your prepaid service plan has expired. Prepaid plans require adding credit to maintain service.
My iPhone 15 Pro Max - Messages app freeze. Only seems to happen when I am in Manhattan. AT&T is my carrier. Started about 4 weeks ago and today - no responsive.
This same thing is happening to me. Carrier is also AT&T. Located in Utah. Software version 17.5.1.
