Since updating my iPhone 12 to iOS 17.4 Apple Maps isn’t working with car play.
I have switched all connections off, removed connection between car and phone and nothing has helped. My partners phone on previous iOS works fine with my car play.
This makes no actual sense at all and does not help with my issue. Backup happens automatically before any update anyway. Clearly there is an issue with the latest update. I don’t believe I’m the only one.

My Apple Maps won’t play in CarPlay either. I have to “forget device” for my hearing aids first on my iPhone. Then re-pair iPhone to CarPlay. There seems to be some sort of incompatibility between the hearing aids and CarPlay on my iPhone 15 pro. I did not have this issue with my iPhone SE. This is a big inconvenience.
