Google map not working properly after the update in car play

Google map not working properly in car play after IOS update. Having IPhone 11.. Any issue in same and what is the solution

as mentioned, issue started only after IOS update. Normal google map works fine. But when connected with CarPlay, there is a delay in map updation. This has started only after new IOS update. Looks like bug in new IOS update as no other changes been done..!!

Close and reopen the app

Force the app to close. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

 

Restart your device

Restart your iPhone or restart your iPad. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

 

Check for updates

To see if updates are available for the app, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then scroll down to see if updates are available. If updates aren't available for the app, update the software on your iPhone or iPad.

 

Delete the app, then redownload it

Delete the app. When you do this, you might lose data that was stored in the app. Then redownload the app. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed.

If you can't find your current location on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  • Turn on Location Services and Location Access for Maps. In the Settings app, tap Privacy, then tap Location Services. Make sure Location Services is on, and make sure Maps is set to While Using the App or Widgets.
  • Set the date, time, and time zone correctly on your device. In the Settings app, tap General, then tap Date & Time. If possible, turn on Set Automatically.
  • Turn on cellular data or Wi-Fi so that you have an active connection. In the Settings app, tap Wi-Fi or Cellular, then select a network or cellular plan.

Location Services uses GPS, Bluetooth, crowd-sourced Wi-Fi hotspots, and cellular towers to determine your location. If you still can't find your current location in Maps, close the Maps app and reopen it. You can also try to restart your iPhoneiPad, or iPod touch.

For difficulties related to CarPlay you'll want to take the additional steps below:


1. Check your connection to your CarPlay stereo:
• If you have a wired connection, try connecting again with a different USB cable to a different USB port if you have one.
• If you have a wireless connection, make sure that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled under Settings > Wi-Fi and Settings > Bluetooth.
2. Restart your iPhone and your car. 
3. Make sure that Siri is on.
4. Go to Settings > General > CarPlay, tap your car, then tap Forget This Car. Then set up CarPlay again.
5. Make sure that your CarPlay stereo is using the latest firmware from the car manufacturer. Check your car's manual for more information.
