How do I turn on "silent clicking" on the MBP trackpad under Sonoma 14.4?
The trackpad was nice and quiet under Sonoma 14.2. Just installed 14.4 and it clicks with every press. Is there a way to turn off the clicks?
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 14.4

Go to System Settings > Trackpad > Point & Click and turn “Silent Clicking” on.
Go to System Settings > Trackpad > Point & Click and turn “Silent Clicking” on.
Thanks 6x6 but it's no longer there in Sonoma 14.2. "Silent clicking" used to appear right above "Force Click and haptic feedback". Maybe it's someplace else but, if so, I can't find it. Or maybe someone knows of a workaround patch via Terminal.
Sorry. I mean Sonoma 14.4.
Thats's strange. I see it but I have an iMac (Sonoma 14.4) with a Magic Trackpad, not a MacBook Pro:
Did you solve it, I also do not see this setting in latest 14.5 Sonoma. Macbook Pro 13 M1
I am having the same issue with my M2 Mac Pro I have a click and there is no silence button???
