A local Folder with photos disappeared when I used it as a path for Shared albums in iCloud Microsoft app in my PC

I tried using the folder in the hopes of having all my files together at one location but when I used the folder path, it disappeared. Help

iCloud shared albums delete all my files in a second Hi, I changed my shared album address to one of my local folders because I didn't want my C disk to get full, but after doing that it deleted all my original local files in that E disk and occupied the space. Now everything, my software, my photos in the past 5 years, are all gone. I need to know if there is a way to retrieve my files. Thank you. Also, maybe I'm not careful enough but I really think it is easy enough to add an alert when something like this will happen.

Photo albums and folders change on their own The order in which I put my folders and albums change on their own after I quit working on them. I have to keep rearranging them to their correct position. Does anyone have this problem? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

I am in the same situation. Lost all my photos. I have already searched my computer and found nothing to get them back.
