I suddenly can't open Music on my Macbook Air. My computer is updated to Sonoma 14.3.1 and I haven't added or removed any music files recently. The app will open but I get the error messages above and I can't select or play anything. Any ideas??

Had a user report this issue just after he did the Sonoma 14.3.1 update.
First went to System Settings, Privacy and Security and added Apple Music to Media and Apple Music. Still got the error when we launched Apple Music.
Quit out of Apple music, went back to Privacy and Security try adding Apple Music to Full Disk Access.
Then when the user launched Apple Music, we did not see the error anymore and was able to work normally. Hope this helps.

So after several hours with apple support I had to start the computer in 'safe mode' to be able to access the music files. Once I restarted the computer it now works in normal mode, hope that helps you both!
This worked for me. Start at Quit out of Apple Music from above post......
So System Setting, Privacy & Security, scroll down to Full Disk Access, click it, go to Music and toggle the switch on. I rebooted my computer and when I open Apple Music the Error message was gone.
If privacy settings didn't work, it could be the Library/Mobile folder also. This explains it more -- essentially use the terminal to create the folder and change the permission settings:

I'm with you both...updated to Sonoma 14.3.1 and no more music, get the same error message. I tried some fixes from older/similar problems, but no luck.
Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, I still had the same error in safe mode and it persists after rebooting. But I’m glad it worked for you.
I was able to fix the errors by giving apple's Music application "Full Disk Access" in Privacy & Security in System Settings.
