Apple Watch total calories difference

Does anyone know why the total calories on certain days can differ from other days, even if the activities undertaken and the active calories burned are practically the same? It’s not even close, it’s grossly dissimilar. I obviously suspect the 14 Feb calculation is the accurate one, but it’s annoying there’s such a difference, unless of course there’s some metabolic reasoning to this - willing to hear any suggestions! Thanks.

Same here! Not taking my move calories into account, the “inactive count” (BMR?) differs substantially from 1200 to 1900, while it should be around 1700-1800 according to many BMR calculators. Annoyingly, this was not the case until a few weeks ago. In the past it basically used to be the same number every day to which my active calories were added to get the total count. Something must be wrong here.
