In Contacts when NOT in Edit mode, text previously entered in Notes can be edited/changed without selecting edit first. Can this behavior be changed so text in Notes field is not (accidentally) altered?

My iPhone 15 Pro as well as IPhone 13 Pro, and IPhone 8 will edit when I open Contacts. I am NOT IN EDIT mode. This has been a bug for many years.
I hate it. It allows for mistakes when touching or copying a word in Contacts.

This same issue exists on my iPhone 14. How do I STOP this?
Notes under Contacts can be added/changed/modified without enabling "Edit"
When NOT in Edit mode, Notes under Contacts cannot be edited is what you desire.

Thank you Zodell, it is an issue that haunts me daily. I use my contacts to keep notes on my customers. Accidentally changing notes when NOT in edit mode is a great frusttation
