I have an iPhone 13 Pro and trying to update from IOS 17.3 to 17.3.1.
It has been stuck for over 2 hours now on the Apple logo progress bar screen.
It is connected to power, has wifi etc.
I have now attempted to force a restart but nothing happens.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, or anyone else experience this issue.
Contacted Apple Support and fixed the problem.
I had to force quit by pressing Vol UP, Vol Down, then hold Side Button till phone restarted and update was completed.

i have been update my iphone 15ProMax from software IOS 17.3 to 17.3.1 after this its freeze, I cant press any thing, tried many times to restart prosses as mention above but still not working cant put the passcode to open it.

Same happen with me I just updated my 2 months old iphone 15 pro max from software ios17.3 and now I can’t used it it’s freeze I can’t touch the screen . HELP PLEASE 🥺. I tried to do vol up vol down and power button but still not working . And also charging not working .
I'm stuck in a broken activation loop with no wifi/sim access and no way to progress with the activation. Plugging into the laptop just gives an error code when trying to activate that way.
All started with an update, please help your users Apple!
that didn't work for me, i did that twice and now I am back to square one!!!!
Had the same issue, iOS 17.3.1 update from iOS 17.3 froze the iPhone 15 Pro Max with auto update. Going to Apple support is not going to help you except if you need help to RESET your phone to factory settings. You need to RESET your phone to factory settings and reload from backup. Looks like software update issue. Basically you loose all your data if it was not backed up. Lesson learned, unless you have a full auto backup don’t enable auto update.
