Smart Playlist Missing on AppleTV

A few days ago one of the smart playlist I created is missing on my ATV (Under computers on Apple TV4). The playlist shows on my Mac with content however does not show on the ATV. The other lists all show. On my other ATV4 I have the same issue from another library, where one playlist does not show but all the others do.

These are different playlists and grouped by shows for individuals. Has anyone else seen this?

I have been using these playlists for years with no issues

Hmm...I don't have that option showing. I see all kinds of choices, but not "Least Recently Added." I spent over an hour on the phone with Apple support in an attempt to fix it; so far, no luck. I'm updating software right now and soon as it's done, am calling back so we can resume troubleshooting. They released updates for Sonoma and Apple TV OS today.

Where do you have that option? I don't have it on mine (see attached screenshot).

I have the same exact problem and wrote a detailed post about it. My playlists worked for YEARS before the changes the ATV interface. It’s frustrating!

I was playing around with it. It looks like if the smart playlist is filtered by “least recently added” the playlist disappears. If I change the sort, it comes back

Right click in the playlist, edit rule
