Halo! So when I do call with messaging app as whatsapp or even normal call, my proximity sensor doesn’t work. I got new this iPhone and never had one before, so I am not sure if there is a setting I should switch on or there is actually a serious problem. It’s a iPhone 12
There really is no setting for the proximity sensor. It either works or it doesn't. Sounds like you may have a hardware issue with your iPhone. Who did you buy the phone from? iPhone 12 is a discontinued iPhone. Was it a brand new, never been used before phone or was it a used iPhone?

You're contradicting your first post, which said it didn't work for WhatsApp, Messenger or even normal calls. But sure, it could be an issue with a 3rd party app.
