iPad Pro => Display & Brightness: Brightness limited due to high ambient temperature = even at low temp and NON adjustable.

I have upgraded to IOS 17.3, but I'm still getting this "Brightness limited due to high ambient temperature", even though it is not warm here at all. The manual adjustment of brightness is blocked = not possible. I restarted after upgrading, hoping that the newer IOS would have solved the problem = to no avail.

What can I d o ?

I did end up finding a solution on my own. First, go to Settings => Display & Brightness: Advanced: make sure “Reference Mode” is off. That worked for me.

Same here. No matter what I do I can't adjust the brightness due to the "high ambient temperature". Been going on for over two weeks now. I just updated to 17.4.1, hoping it would fix it, but no luck. It has nothing to do with temperature as the iPad is cool to the touch. Definitely a software glitch. I'm annoyed to see you've had this problem since early February and there's still no fix, nor did they fix it with the recent update.
