Apple Fitness+ workout fast forward

How is this still a thing?! I’m having the same problem. I don’t care if it screws up the rings. I need it to function like every other video I can watch on my iPad & allow me to FF or rewind when necessary. This baffles me. And I have already tried pausing & scrubbing the bottom of the screen. Doesn’t work. I can pause, but nothing else.

I pay for the family plan and my once my girlfriend realized you can’t rewind or fast forward on the fitness app, she told me to drop it. We’re both beside ourselves that Apple won’t let you fast forward or rewind or simply slide the bar to any spot. She’d pause it to take a call and it’d unpause itself and played through the workout, then she had to wait 10 mins from the beginning to get back to where she was and said this has got to be the dumbest thing ever.

I looked up complaints about it and people have been complaining about this for many years and Apple hasn’t done a thing about it.

Absolutely ridiculous and mind-blowing.
