Have v10.4.10 and sonoma 14.2.1. Garageband performs normally for all other playback functions i've used but I can't adjust the tempo either by dragging the tempo number in the display at top or adjusting the tempo track. I can change the tempo number and adjust the tempo track but it has no impact on the tempo, it continues to play at the original tempo. Doesn't matter what song I have loaded up. thanks for the help.

I went to apple.com/feedback and went through the selections to find GB and then provided feedback there. I suspect it will head a brick wall but felt the need to register my displeasure with the issue. I've been asking around about other solutions. Transcribe came up as one as did iRehearse Plus and Forescore.
I have the very same issue and I can't find any solution and I have "Enable Flex" and "Follow pitch" enabled.
Thanks for letting me know it's not just me (or user error)! Are you using GB v10.4.10 as well? think the upgrade broke this capability. I've sent feedback to Apple twice but no reply...
