Bootcamp Win 10 ISO: only WIN 11 installation possible

I want to install Windows 10 via bootcamp on my old MacBook Pro mid 2012.

I downloaded the Windows 10 (multi edition) ISO form the Microsoft website and did all the steps in Bootcamp.

But at the beginning of the installation I am asked to select the Windows edition of my choice, which are all Windows 11 variants. However, my MacBook is not able to install Windows 11.

I’m 200% sure I dowloaded the Win 10 ISO, not 11.

How can this be solved?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15
