I don't have an edit button on my Iphone recent calls list. So how do I delete ALL of the recent calls at one time

It is not there. I don’t have either.
I held my finger where the Edit should be and a box popped up on my screen that said Edit. Then one that said Clear. Very strange but it worked to clear all my recent calls.
Open the Phone app and tap on Recents. Edit is in the top left corner:
