Movies will not play after latest Apple TV update

Yep its broken. Every second time I sit down to use it I have to restart the whole AppleTv.. You click on something to play. The icon bulges like you selected it but nothing happens. Absolutenothing will play from the TV+ interface until a full restart and then its happy again.

i suspect it’s something to do with going in and out of sleep when the tv turns it off via the hdmi link.. Either way the new interface is just plain bad..

I HATE the Apple TV App update. Here’s why

1. half my movies won’t play
2. i can no longer see how many movies and TV shows I’ve purchased
3. the User interface is a pain in the behind
4. When I watch TV shows I’ve purchased I have to scroll from Season 1 Episode 1 through all seasons to get back to where I was watching the last time. With shows like NCIS that means well over 100 episodes I have to scroll through to get to the one I was watching when I turned it off
5. Many of my purchases are under the wrong Genre so since I have nearly 2000 movies it takes forever to scroll to the one I’m looking for.

Too bad Apple doesn’t care about what their customers want and it’s bout time to dump the whole system including the 5 Apple TV units I have at my house!
