Apple Pay credit card expiration date issue

Using same credit card that’s been my main Apple Pay for years. Expiration is June 2024.

it’s telling me that the card isn’t valid because it’s the wrong expiration date.

i removed the card and added it again as a new card.

it says “expiration dates can’t be in the past. The credit card expiration year must be between 2024 and 2044”.

it’s clearly 06/24. Like, I have a screenshot showing 06/24 and that error message.

help me Apple.

No. I had only removed it from the Apple ID account. I just removed it from my wallet and readded it. It successfully added back into my Wallet. I did a transaction with it via my Starbucks app (which for the last week wasn't working to reload via Apple Pay via this card), and it worked great.

So it seems to be working for my Wallet, which is mainly what I needed it for.

THANK YOU!

Super weird that it stopped working?

I will not try to put it back in my Apple ID account, as I have another card in there that works just fine for subscriptions and such.

Says "the expiration dates cannot be in the past. The expiration year of the credit card must be between 2024 and 2044".<<

Please re-enter the expiration date using a 4 digit number for the year using the following format MM/YYYY. Once the year is edited, you need to re-enter the 3 or 4 digit security code too.

Digite novamente a data de expiração usando um número de 4 dígitos para o ano usando o seguinte formato MM/AAAA. Depois que o ano for editado, você também precisará inserir novamente o código de segurança de 3 ou 4 dígitos.

This didn't work. The payment method is added to my phone with 06/2024 as the expiration. When I then go to "Link" to Apple Pay, it says in red (Apply Pay) (Verify) and when I click on that, it gives the "The credit card expiration year must be between 2024 and 2044. Expiration dates can't be in the past. Security code is invalid."

My research is telling me that this might have something to do with Apple using the "Device Account Number" instead of the actual information on my card? I have not received a new physical card, as my card doesn't expire for 6 months. But maybe Apple has "new info" ?
