HDMI adapter works with iPhone but not with iPad

Hi,

I have UGREEN 5 in 1 USB-C hub with HDMI port and I'm trying to connect my iPad Pro 12.9' 5th Gen into my display but it only shows black screen.

I see the adapter blue icon on the top bar but I can see the display on the "Display & Brightness" settings.

the display recognise the connection but it shows only black screen.

tried charging' paired Mouse& Keyboard, different HDMI cable and another display. still don't work with my iPad.

when I, connecting the adapter to my iPhone 15 Pro it works just fine.

Try these steps:

  1. Update iPadOS: Ensure your iPad is running the latest version of its operating system.
  2. Verify that your UGREEN adapter is compatible with the iPad Pro 12.9" 5th Gen.
  3. Adjust Resolutions: Change resolution settings under "Display & Brightness" when connected to the HDMI.
  4. Look for any damage or debris in the hub’s HDMI port and the iPad’s USB-C port.
  5. Test with another hub or adapter that supports your iPad.
  6. Reset the network settings or all settings on your iPad.

7. If issues persist, contact Apple Support for further assistance.
