iPhone 15 hard reset is not working

2 weeks old iphone 15 Pro with no damage just became unresponsive and wont turn on. The screen is black - wont turn on after holding side button, nor after trying the hard restart (volume up (press+release), volume down (press+release), side button (hold for 10-20sec). I tried charging it for an hour and doing it again and - nothing. I also tried a different charging cable. What is going on? How do I turn it on?

Its scary it is happening on a new iphone device.

NOTE: Your iPhone 15 Pro is still under Apple’s 1YR Limited Warranty (US). If nothing works then take advantage of this warranty by getting your iPhone examined at the Apple Store or at an Authorized Service Center.

(1) Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF). 


(2)  If the above does not work then - Follow the instructions in this article by Apple ➔ If your iPhone is Non-Responsive or Frozen and see if that helps.


(3)  If that does not help, then contact 👉 Official Apple Support OR you can always get your iPhone examined at the Apple Store 👉 Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and evaluation.
