Adjust keyboard brightness option missing

After updating to Sonoma, the "Adjust keyboard brightness" option is now missing from the System Preferences> Keyboard settings!

I've read dozen of topics of people having the same trouble and their problem has never been solved! This is insane... I've tried eveything in the System Preferences, resetting everything I could possibly reset but nothing works!

The screen brightness still adjusts automatically, my webcam works, and that option missing simply shows that it's a software problem... Are people at Apple listening ? I keep on hoping for this to be solved with an OS update but I did the last one available this morning and the problem is still here!

Help please...

Well, thanks for correcting me but my problem is about the keyboard, not the display, so it should actually be in System Settings > Keyboard > .... but the "Adjust keyboard brightness" option just disappeared.

I was talking about Apple because there are so many similar topics without any solution that I find it crazy that this problem still has no solution...
