Marketplace crashes ipad

Every time i use marketplace it crashes my brand new iPad the iPad and the app both have been updated to the latest versions available. My old iPad did this so I stopped using it a long time ago I bought a new iPad and it does the same thing. What can i do as this is really the only reason i bought the iPad. If it doesn’t work I will have to return the iPad for a refund
