iMessage issue

I have a group chat (everyone have iPhone) and my friends can send iMessages in the group chat but when I send one it's a regular (green) text message that the others receives as a separate message. I have restarted my iPhone and have the latest update. iMessage is turned on. This is the only group chat where I have this isssue. Anyone knows anything? Thank you so much.

iOS Group Messaging with iMessage bug Just updated to iOS 18.1 and it appears to have broken my group iMessaging. In the text box for the group chat I only see ‘Text Message - SMS’. Previously it was showing ‘iMessage’. iMessage to individuals work fine. When people message in the group chat it comes through as individual messages. Have tried restarting and turning iMessage on/off but no luck. Anyone else experience this? Is this an issue on my end or with the other group members? Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.

Group chats I am no longer receiving messages in group chats. I can send messages but when people respond I’m not getting them. I have gone into settings and made sure my message stuff was on, I did a restart on my phone and my phone is updated. Not sure what’s wrong

Group Messages not showing in iMessage when addressing a text? I just updated to iOS 16 and did not have this problem until the update. iPhone 13. When I try to create a new iMessage and I try to address it to a previously named group chat, the group name won’t appear as an option. I can text in the groupchat itself when I am in the messages app by clicking on the thread, but I can’t get the group to pop up when I try to start the message from scratch or from sharing a link in safari, or chrome.
