My watch stopped measuring noise levels today. It said noise level monitoring was suspended if Water lock was on or if the speaker or microphone was in use. I powered down the watch. After powering on again, noise level monitoring worked. Just saying.
I discovered this is caused by using the dial keypad during a phone call taken on the watch.
Same issue with Apple Watch S9, WatchOS 10.4, iPhone 12 Mini. I’ve done multiple factory resets and then setup as new. I even had the watch replaced in January 2024. No luck. The only thing that “fixes it is restarting but only temporarily. The issue always comes back.
