When going to a new YouTube video…. The blank boxes that should be grey under the loading video, are various colors
is anyone else seeing this on the base iPhone 15…. I’ve had two devices that do this now. I thought it was hardware…but, thinking it’s YouTube now. But, it doesn’t do it in iPhone pros.

Have you force closed the YouTube app, then reopened it?
Place your finger on the bottom of your iPhone screen and swipe up half-way and hold. All your most recently and open apps will be minimized and you then swipe them up to force close them. Then reopen the YouTube app and see if operates normally.
I would agree... that it is probably a youtube issue (after having the same problem with two phones)... unfortunately, I don't have any other apps that "act" that way, as far as how they load. I am going to try to contact YT about though. thanks.
That doesn’t do anything….in fact…it stopped for a period of time, then started again today.
If this only happens on YouTube, then it's an issue with YouTube, which Apple doesn't own. Contact them for help with their app.

I am also facing a bug in YouTube while scrolling through shots sometimes sound of one video is passing to next video. do you faced this issue.
