Why do I keep getting duplicates of m4p files from Apple Music? Like this:

See Empty/corrupt iTunes/Music library after upgrade/crash - Apple Community. I suspect that your library has reset at some point, losing all knowledge of locally stored files. Subsequent downloads will gain a trailing digit so they don't overwrite the existing file, even though nothing is connected to it. You cannot add locally stored DRM Apple Music content to the library. It might be easiest to remove the downloads for all Apple Music content, delete the whole Apple Music folder in the media folder and empty the trash, then redownload what you wish to be stored locally.

i'm experiencing the same issue. just discovered the hidden "Apple Music" folder on my Macbook has over 212GB of duplicate music files! This folder appears to be separate from my local music files. I also found out alot of the music that's there isn't even in my actual library in the Music app. Can't figure out where these are coming from (possibly playlists i got from Apple Music). I'm running a backup now before i wipe that folder clean to see what happens.
