Update to iOS timer app is bad

It used to be easy to close, easy to add timers and it also told you when (what time) the timer was going to go off. It functioned well as a quick alarm clock that didn’t require a bunch of choices. Now it has less features and is way less useful as well as more difficult to use. At this point I’m looking for an app to replace something that didn’t require fixing.

Yes, the Timer update was completely unnecessary. It was perfect the way it was… now it is inconvenient to use. I find myself irritated whenever I have to use it.

Would like to understand what problem yall were trying to solve with the update. When I need to set a timer, it’s bc I need do something BY a certain time. It’s not because I just need 10 min or 20 min. So saving all of my timers is absolutely useless to me so I just delete them and it takes me more taps to see what time my timer is set to expire (not to mention that I’m forced to start a timer before being able to see that). I do like the quick pre set options, but I don’t use them, at least haven’t yet and it’s probably bc it’s only available to me on the screen where a timer is already going.. (the top + button). So yeah. Overall, I hate it.
