The timer display on the latest IOS can EASILY be accidently paused or canceled by just touching the home screen now. This is horrible and needs a patch to correct. I hope Apple knows about this problem. and btw, 'pause' a timer?! unsmart

Timer regularly turning itself off, only way to prevent this is when a timer is set, I MUST NOT use my phone, or put phone in pocket,
unfortunately I put phone on pocket by habit, have had burnt dinner several times.

I too have indadvertlanly stopped fairly lengthy test timers; requiring a lengthy process restart for the “do-over.” 🙁
