My Apple Watch 8 won’t ring when I receive call or provide notification when a text is received. I have an active number share with my phone provider and they don’t see an issue on their end. Why won’t my watch ring ? I’ve tried all of the basic instructions and my notifications are turned on. I have reset the watch, updated it, powered it down and back up, but still nothing.

Just to make sure. In Settings/phone and Settings/Messages, you have "Mirror iPhone" selected?
If your Apple Watch does not have the LTE option, your watch and iPhone will have to be connected to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. If your iPhone is switched off, you will not receive calls or text messages on your Apple Watch without LTE enabled on the watch.
And your watch will only notify you about incoming calls or notifications, if your iPhone is in standby.
Also make sure that "Do not disturb" or any other Focus feature is disabled.
The same thing is happening to me as well and I haven’t changed any of my settings and everything worked fine before. all my mirroring is still on. Bluetooth, WiFi are on, airplane mode off. Sound on. Reset my watch. Nothing has worked.
