Clock/Time changes randomly after swiping on Apple Watch
WatchOS 10.2 fixed the swipe to change face, but every time you swipe, the clock shows 10:09 first, then switches to the right time. Is it a bug?

Lol. Definitely not a “feature” if my clock does a 1-second switch to 10:09 with each swipe to change faces. It has never done this on my watch with any previous watchOS in the past 5 years.
Anyway, it’s not too bothersome and I’m sure the next update will fix it.

Go through the Apple Watch Face gallery, and you will find that every image shows 10:09 (and 30 seconds if there is a second hand, or seconds are displayed at part of the Digital Time).
10:09:30 is a long standing watch industry advertising standard, because the hands are symmetrical in the print Ads.
The fact that Apple did not do this in the past, just means they decided to do it starting with watchOS 10, just like watchOS 10 decided to change a bunch of other user interface features.

Apparently, analog faces spin the hands around and the Snoopy face does something amusing.

Feature, as it is intentional.
I'm not a big Snoopy fan. I want a Calvin and Hobbes face.... But, I am amused by the animations upon swiping. It's a clever detail.

Based upon your comment, and for my amusement, I checked out the Snoopy face for the first time...pun intended. It was cute, but not one I'll be using, except for sharing with the the grandkids.😀

While I used to have a Snoopy Ski Hat, complete with the pompom ball at the top, I too am a huge Calvin & Hobbs fan. Reminds me of my youth (except I was tamer).

Sadly, I don't believe we will ever see licensed C&H anything. That's both good and bad.
