Swiping between watch faces triggers complication instead of a swipe

I have noticed the same thing on my Series 10. And yes there has been power cycling.

I am not looking for a cure, as I do not change my watch face often. Rather I have some observations.

2 things seem to help, but not totally solve.

Swiping along the upper 3rd of the watch face, because there are fewer complications on my watch faces there.

Being careful to swipe completely across and off the edge.

These sometimes help, but not always.

If this does not help, unpairing and connecting it again to your iPhone without using the latest backup would be the next step:

If still no luck, this could be related to the latest watchOS 11 upgrade.

Same here. Started to have this problem after the watchOS 11 upgrade. Really annoying.

Until such time as it is changed, you may have to pick your annoyance.

Did you try to force restart by pressing and holding the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again?

Have you tried turning off Swipe to Switch Watch Face? I have that off on mine and have to do the very brief press-and-hold before swiping. I can't replicate the problem with this setting off.
