Problem purchasing APP in App Store

I Have new iMac(2 Weeks) running Sonoma 14.2, trying to buy an app from the store, payment page asks for an "issue No"-Not on my cards and I don't think used in u.k -can any one suggest a fix for this please

iMac 24″, macOS 14.2

You usually need a payment method -

You usually need to have added a valid payment method to your account. Even to re-download or update apps and for free apps. You can find the acceptable payment methods for your country here;

Hi thanks for help, trouble is I can't seem to add payment method to my account,My account just shows my old address, moved 2 years ago.and even after correction it still with asks for an issue number of the card or says contact apple support .I have registered this new iMac in my name, but I know my wife is registered on I tunes is this a conflict /

Hi, got to the bottom of this problem -when setting up new I mac and account ,apple showed me various apps that needed updating.-_I wasn't using them .e. garage band /etc so I didn't accept, after my problem, I went back and accepted the updates, checked that all the pages were set to UK English ,and was able to correct adresss and card details so all fine for now .
